  • DEI Books (deibooks.com) is a global online marketplace where vendors sell digital and physical books, accessories, and educational materials.
  • Vendors do not require approval before listing their products.

User Accounts and Registration

  • Both buyers and vendors must create accounts to use the platform.
  • There are no age restrictions for users.
  • Vendors must verify their identity through Stripe before selling.

Vendor Policies

  • Vendors must provide a bank account, Tax ID (EIN, SSN, or ITIN), government-issued photo ID, selfie verification, proof of home address, legal entity name, legal entity type, business address, and the country of operation.
  • Vendors are responsible for handling shipping.
  • Subscription fees are required to sell on the platform.
  • Vendors may only sell books, curricula, journals, planners, lesson plans, educational accessories (e.g., t-shirts, plush toys, pens, water bottles), and other education-related materials.

Payments and Transactions

  • Payments are processed directly to vendors via Stripe.
  • Accepted payment methods include Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Diners Club, JCB, Apple Pay, Cash App Pay, Affirm, Klarna, and Afterpay.
  • Vendors handle refunds and returns.
  • The platform charges a transaction fee per sale.

Content and Product Listings

  • Vendors may only upload images and content related to their business or products.
  • The platform does not review or approve product listings before publication.
  • Vendors posting misleading or illegal content will be removed and permanently banned.

Dispute Resolution and Liability

  • Disputes between buyers and vendors are managed by the vendor and through Stripe.
  • DEI Books does not take responsibility for fraud, defective products, or delivery failures.
  • Vendors violating policies may receive warnings, suspensions, or permanent bans.

Privacy and Data Protection

  • User data is collected and used for registration, checkout, payment processing, analytics, plugins, and interactions such as comments and surveys.
  • The Privacy Policy outlines data storage and sharing practices.
  • Vendors may access buyer data beyond transaction details through Stripe.

Termination and Account Suspension

  • Accounts may be terminated for fraudulent activity or posting inappropriate content.
  • Users have the right to appeal suspensions.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States.
  • Legal disputes are resolved through mediation or arbitration.
